Here's the lineup for Spring 2016- Winter is basically over here so it's time to bring out some new smells!
B.O.B.: This is short for "blood orange blueberry", which is the basis for this perfume. Ripe market blueberries, fresh-squeezed blood orange juice, and some sun-bleached old barn wood.
Pop!: Bright and fizzy. Sweet bubbly soda water flavored with lychee, wasabi, strawberries, cucumber slices, lemon and lime.
Message In A Bottle: A letter sealed in a bottle, cast out to sea, and carried out by currents to an unknown continent's shores. Salt water magnolia, sweetgrass, tempered by a hint of black agar and amber and brightened with a splash of citrus sweetness.
Peachy Keen: Swell! Peaches, Nectarines, spicy fresh Ginger, and Vanilla bean Marshmallow.
Returning this year from past Spring releases:
Moth: Iridescent wings flutter and flit through the forest night, leaving trails of sparkling pixie dust floating in the air. A veil of sheer freesia and honeysuckle, lily of the valley, dew-laden mint, tree trunks, pine needles, and the forest floor below.
Butterfly: Colorful and bright, like a flower in flight. Ripe Apricots, Nectar, Mimosa blooms, Black Currants, Oranges, Melons, and a hint of fresh Mint.
Sprout: A fragrance for Spring, of new growth pushing through the remnants of last year. Wood violets, dewfruit, fresh earth, green leaves, lichen and moss, and delicate alyssum.
Spring Cleaning: Opening the windows on the first warm-enough day after a long winter is such an amazing thing to do. Out with the old, and in with the new! Clean laundry, spring flowers, redwoods, black pepper, patchouli, ylang, lindenblossom, and tart green pineapple.
Maura Mae: A classic returns! Slightly reformulated, but still lovely as ever. With her curls of copper, her twinkling eyes, her sweet smile- this is what they mean when they refer to "The luck of the Irish". A sweet and fruity scent, Maura Mae is strongly apricot, with supporting notes of green clover, tea, cut grass, a sprinkling of field flowers- lily of the valley, violet, lavender, as well as a dash of berries, vanilla bean, and the faintest, tiniest, entirely lady-like nip of whiskey.
Silk Road: A heady floral-tea fragrance, heavy on the "green". Green Tea with tart Rosehips, Jasmine blossoms, and Silk, along with hints of Cucumber, Chamomile, and Kiwi.
Lucky: Crisp, juicy red apples, tart granny smiths, and rolling, endless green hills perfumed by nature awakening from her winter slumber. Spring is in the air!
Blackberry Buckle: (reformulated for 2016) Blackberry preserves and fresh-picked Blackberries, Lemon zest, and Buttery crumbly Cake filling with a Spiced crumb topping.
And then there's a few scents which are being aded to the year-round catalog, a fan favorite, a couple reformulations, and something completely new, too!:
Rose Lemonade: A classic OHWTO smell returns for good this year! Yep, 100% inspired by the Fentiman's beverage of the same name, this fragrance is fizzy and floral and lemony with a slight undertone of gingery warmth. Try it with gin- the soda, not the perfume ;) Fresh-squeezed Lemons, Sugar, Rose petals, Geraniums, fizzing Soda water, Grapefruit, and a light touch of Amber and Ginger.
Carnivale 2.0: When I created the original version of this fragance back in 2010, I made the best dang "carnival" scent I could with my available resources- but it's 2016 now and there are better components and it's time for a do-over. Old Carnivale will be available for a short while longer, so while they're both around this new version will be labelled "2.0" so as not to confuse. The new version consists of similar notes, but the end result is something quite a bit different. Cotton candy, lemongrass, orange, vanilla, and lemon.
Barista! 2.0: Same story here as with Carnivale- I like what I have, but I wanted to see if I could make it better, and think I did. This will also be labelled "2.0" until the old version is fully discontinued. The chocolate and coffee notes are much stronger in this new version- think of this as the "double espresso" version of the original's "decaf mocha latte with extra milk". Roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, hazelnut syrup, white chocolate, whipped cream, and vanilla bean.
Time Lord: All of time and space awaits. A masculine-leaning blend anybody would want to follow across the universe! Aged Cedar and Sandalwood, Spiced Vanilla, Teak, Petitgrain, and Cardamom, with whispers of Rose, Oud, and Ginger.

Known by many names and written of in the stories of countless cultures, the Will o Wisp is a floating, dancing cluster of light which may be simply swamp gas ignited by an mystery spark, or a physical manifestation of otherworldly consciousness. Spring 2015
I know I am a bit late in posting this, but at least it'll be here for future reference ;)
Chirp: The first robins of Spring are always a welcome sight. A chipper blend of oriental vanilla, feminine musk, osmanthus, peaches, and violets, with hints of grapefruit and a very smooth oud accord.
Highland Crest: The clean scent of an Ocean breeze caught atop the seaside cliffs, the waves crashing against the rocks below, air ripe with Plumeria blossoms, Heather, and your well-worn Suede jacket to cut the chill. Leather/Ocean/Unisex
Rose Lemonade: Another classic OHWTO smell returns to welcome Spring this year!
Paradox: A curiously impossible blend of violets, coconut, and more, this intriguing scent will keep you sniffing your wrists for hours. It's food-y, but yet, it's flowery, but it's not, but it is. Or is it? Violets, Coconut, Coconut Milk, Madagascar Vanilla, Labdanum, Sandalwood, and gentle touches of Lavender, Valerian root, and White musk.
Blackberry Buckle: Unf. Fans of my "The Cake is a Lie" fragrance, prepare to have your worlds rocked. Blackberry preserves and fresh-picked Blackberries, Lemon zest, and Buttery crumbly Cake filling with a Spiced crumb topping.

Valentine's Day 2015
For posterity, here's the 2015 lineup of Valentine's Day fragrances in the OHWTO shop this year:
Heart Flutters: You catch a glimpse of them in a crowded room, or down a long hallway, or maybe on an internet message board. Your pulse quickens. Your chest grows tight. You can't... words. You're keenly aware of the beating in your chest, though- the rhythmic pounding of a trapped and frightened animal trying to break free from its cage. Maybe you should go to the hospital, you think, but no. There's nothing any doctor can do for you. This is love. Some might call it obsession, even. And for that, there's only one cure.
Softly romantic, perfect for setting hearts aflutter on Valentine's, or any other, day.
Fragrance notes: Honeysuckle, Sandalwood, Violets, White Patchouli, Vanilla, Rose, Musk, and clean Spring breezes
Be True: a romance-inducing blend of bouquets of Baby Roses, gifts of milky White Chocolate, luscious Raspberries, Vanilla, and a hint of Sandalwood to hold it all together.
Gourmand/Fruity/Feminine
Coeur de L'Hiver : French for the Heart of Winter, which is pretty much exactly where Valentine's falls, for many of us. A sturdy blend of Red cherries, White lilies, Rosewood, Sandalwood, and Amber.
Woody/Fruity/Feminine

Fall/Winter Dates to Remember
(repost from today's Newsletter) Hey all! No time for fancy formatting and pictures, but I wanted to get this info out there to help lessen any disappointing surprises for anyone. This is regarding my Halloween collection and the upcoming Winter one, so please make note of the following dates (which are tentative and subject to change if needed): *Oct 24: Halloween Minis will be removed from the Etsy shop, this is the LAST day to purchase them. *Oct 31: Halloween! This is the last day to purchase the Halloween collection. *Nov 1: Halloween will be removed from the Etsy shop entirely. You will not be able to purchase anything with those scents until I have done an inventory of anything remaining. *Nov 5: It's my birthday, and to celebrate, there will be cake. Or something ;) *Nov 7(?): Any and all remaining Halloween inventory will be listed for sale. This will be the end of it, and no more will be sold. This date is tentative; I may list these items a few days earlier or later, depending on when I can get to it. They'll be in the "SALE" section in the shop. If more items pop up after the initial "final listing", they'll be added as I realize their existence. *Nov 15: Winter will go live. Minis will not be available immediately, but never fear, they will be added a week or two after the initial rush dies down. I am HOPING to get 1mL samples made beforehand and listed when this collection goes live, but don't hold me to that. I'd wanted to do it for Halloween this year, but that plan didn't work out so well, heh. *Nov 28: BLACK FRIDAY. Yes, there will be a sale. Cyber Monday, too. I may add a few flash sale codes on Saturday and/or Sunday, too- those codes will be posted on Twitter (@OHWTOcom) and Instagram (@OHWTO) if they happen, so be sure you're following me on one or the other- there will be no newsletter regarding the flash sale codes and if you miss them then I will not honor them after the fact- I'll be way too busy, sorry. I will probably be disabling the minis during the BF/CM sales period, but there will be plenty of other goodies for you guys. In addition to the Winter collection, I'll be adding a few new full-timey things to the shop in the upcoming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for those :D I expect Winter to be available through February, maybe March, so there'll be plenty of time to get your hands on things before Spring is released. -Becca OHWTO

Halloween 2014
(An excerpt from the OHWTO newsletter- for my records, and yours)
New this year:
Hayrides & Hijinks
Ritual
Talisman
Returning from the crypt are:
Final Girl
Chocopumpkin
Bobbing for Apples
Burning Times
Calaveras
County Fair
Equinox
Jack. In Black.
Ravensblood
Slenderman
Spectre
Sticky Fingers
Treat
Trick
Zalgo
A few fragrances from Halloweens past were made in small amounts, but I will not be including them in this year's full offerings (though you might be able to convince me to pour a few more bottles of these). There'd be way too many scents if I kept them all and I'd never be able to keep up, so I had to make some cuts somewhere. These are the casualties. There's a few bottles of these scents up in the Etsy shop, and when they're gone, they're gone until next year at the earliest. They are:
Green Lady
Poison Apple
Se7en
Smashing
Sweet Tooth
The Great Pumpkin
Who Was Phone

Stock Fragrance List
Stock Fragrances
Here is a list of my "Stock" fragrances. There are single note, or designer dupe, or sometimes supplier-exclusives which I thought were nice enough to sell on their own.
Here is a list of my "Stock" fragrances. There are single note, or designer dupe, or sometimes supplier-exclusives which I thought were nice enough to sell on their own.
* Be Delicious: Begins with top notes of apple, cucumber, and yuzu; followed by middle notes of magnolia, tuberose, lily of the valley, and fresh cut roses; with base notes of sandalwood and white amber.
*Beach: smells like a day at the beach, the main scent being Coppertone suntan lotion (really!!). I got it to use in soaps and scents for those nasty cold days in February where all you want to do is escape the cold and lay out on the sand, it's one of those "take me to summer RIGHT NOW" scents :)
*Beguiled: A captivating blend of violets and jasmine, hints of citrus, spice, and vanilla help to round out the scent and transform it from simply floral to something that is SO much more. A dupe for L*sh's Bathos.
*Big Daddy: An intoxicating blend of Tobacco Blossom, Mandarin, Honey, Rose, Caramel, this is a slightly spicy, slightly sweet, slightly musky, and very manly scent, despite what its notes might say to the contrary. Reminds me of what a man should smell like, but it could totally work on the right female, too.

*Black Amber Lavender: Deep and sophisticated, this fragrance blends blackened Amber with a bold Parisian Lavender. Myrrh, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and Egyptian Musk round it out while a splash of raw Clary Sage adds an herby note to the mix. Earthy, sweet, floral- and highly intoxicating.
*Black Raspberry Vanilla: Raspberry, Peach, Lemon & Strawberry on a bed of flowers and musks.
*Black Cherry Merlot: A delightful blend of cherry, black raspberry, and an aromatic merlot. BBW dupe.
*Blue Cotton Candy: A yummy, melt in your mouth spun sugar candy laced with super sweet sugary grape, strawberry, and sugary caramelized vanilla and berry base notes.
*Ezra: Exciting the senses with lavender, fresh bergamot, and sexy leather accords, Ezra Fitch deepens into a masculine musk and finishes with sandalwood. Incredibly sexy, incredibly masculine!
*Blue Sugar: An Aquolina duplicate, this one is aimed at the male market, though both men and women are equally drawn to this wonderful fragrance. Fresh citrus creates a shimmering lift for this sensual vanilla based scent. A romantic floral bouquet at the heart of the fragrance intertwines with fresh green tones and rich patchouli. The vanilla signature at the base of the scent is balanced with soft musk and warmed by exotic woody tones for lingering sensuality.
*Chocolate Heart: A delicate but addicting blend of raw honey, chocolate and cocoa butter. A dupe for L*sh "Soft Coeur".
*Chocolate Heart: A delicate but addicting blend of raw honey, chocolate and cocoa butter. A dupe for L*sh "Soft Coeur".
*Coconut: What would the tropics be without coconut? A true toasted coconut scent, not a suntan lotion type of coconut.
*Dark Kiss: It's absolutely enchanting, like a grownup version of a fruit scent ("musky plum" is what comes to mind but that's not a very sexy name for a fragrance), with a hint of perfume that's not too overpowering. Contains notes of Mirabella Plum, Black Raspberry, Amber, Peony, Vanilla Bean, Sensual Musk, and Fresh Spun Cotton Candy for a touch of something sweet.*Ezra: Exciting the senses with lavender, fresh bergamot, and sexy leather accords, Ezra Fitch deepens into a masculine musk and finishes with sandalwood. Incredibly sexy, incredibly masculine!
*Faerie Dust: Smells like a Snow Fairy! The essence of crystalline sugar dust with a hint of sweet vanilla at the base.
*Fluff: A fascinating fragrance oil which is a blend of juicy bubblegum, cotton candy, juicy apples and pears blended together with sugared candy lemon drops meshed with crushed Madagascar vanilla. A dupe for L*sh'd "Candy Fluff".
*Forever Red: Bursting red pomegranate accented with notes of osmanthus and fluffy sweet marshmallow.
*Fresh Snow: This fragrance mimics the feeling of peace and tranquility after a fresh snowfall. It is a very ozone-y fragrance, reminiscent of clean laundry or fresh cotton. This fragrance has a crisp heliotrope top with supporting notes of sprint water, juniper berry, vetiver and sandalwood.
*Gimme Shelter: Like a big fluffy Comforter to wrap up in! Instant relaxation with this uplifting and comforting fragrance with its notes of fresh citrus tones of orange and bergamot leading to the warm heart. Soft floral tones combine with clove and cinnamon as leafy green accents add dramatic texture to the blend. An earthy element is created with patchouli, while fresh minty pennyroyal lifts the spicy tones. Sweet vanilla and soft musk are carefully balanced at the base of the scent. Top notes: orange, bergamot, clove, mint. Middle notes: floral, spice, green, patchouli. Bottom notes: musk, vanilla.
*Ginger Ale: This one smells JUST LIKE ginger ale, and I always get thirsty when I smell it. You'll swear that there are bubble tickling your nose when you get a whiff of this one! This is my "go to" soap scent when I don't know what I want to wash with, it's clean and refreshing and I just adore it.
*Ginger Tea (White Tea & Ginger BBW Type): This fragrance has a delightful warm and comforting smell. With top notes of Bergamot, Lemon Peels and Green Daylilies, this fragrance is brought back to its roots with a base of Ginger, Nutmeg and Warm Musk. White floral notes, such as Hyacinth, Freesia and Peony complete the mix.
*Grass Stain: This scent is fresh, clean and vibrant. Remember your childhood, frolicking in the grass, rolling down grassy hills and playing on the swing set at the park? This is the fragrance to bring it all back. It's crisp, sweet and green.
*Hello Sugar: Notes of sugar, lemon, and shortbread, this BBW dupe for the fragrance of the same name is absolutely delightful, citrusy-sweet perfection.
*Honey Crisp: Delectable honey and toffee scent are supported by background notes of fruit and musk. Top notes: citrus, honey-floral bouquet. Middle notes: peach, apple, toffee. Bottom notes: woody, musky. A dupe of Honey I washed the Kids by L*sh.
*Iced Tea Twist: Bright notes of lemon and orange are intertwined with fresh tea leaves and sugar. A BBW dupe for Iced Tea Twist, and apparently also for London Calling, according to some.
*Jelly Beans: Smells like a bag of jelly beans, with strong juicy berry and sugar notes. Mouthwateringly-good!
*Kettle Corn: Smells like the country fair! An enticing blend of melted butter, salt, brown sugar and popcorn that's sure to get your mouth watering.
*Fluff: A fascinating fragrance oil which is a blend of juicy bubblegum, cotton candy, juicy apples and pears blended together with sugared candy lemon drops meshed with crushed Madagascar vanilla. A dupe for L*sh'd "Candy Fluff".

*Lilac: This is a wonderfully lilac-y fragrance, not artificial and not TOO strong, just like the real thing. My bottle leaked a bit during shipping and when my package arrived, my whole front entry smelled of fresh-cut lilacs. Normally I'm not a fan of the super floral scents, but I've made an exception for this one- it's great.

When you smell this you're going to say, "OMG Flowers!" The florals are in there, but the woody musk and patchouli balance them nicely, making them less overwhelming. A mysterious and alluring scent, and a floral sure to please even professed haters of all things flowery.

*Pink Lady (Aquolina Pink Sugar Type): a scent which evokes sensuality, gentleness, and passion. It has notes of pink cotton candy, sweet lemon drops, raspberries, fig leaves, caramel, Sicilian orange, Barbe-a-Papa, Lily of the Valley, and powdery vanilla musk. Playful, mischievous, romantic.
*Red Apple: This one smells just like its name; this scent is actually a blend of a few varieties of Red Apple scents, along with some notes of Green Apple to temper the sweetness. The Green Apple notes add some wonderful depth and tartness to the scent. A great fall fragrance alternative.
*Salty Mariner: Salty marine notes and fresh rain mingle with lily of the valley, jasmine, leafy greens, pine and musk. Experience the beautifully mastered essence of the thunder of waves crashing against the shore, the salty air in your face and the soft crunch of seashells beneath your feet. Imagine yourself at sea, with your face being lightly sprinkled with ocean spray.
*Satsuma(Body Shop type): A sweet Japanese citrus fruit, this is the sweetest citrus scent I've ever smelled. It reminds me of clementines at Christmas.
*Scurvy Dog: A dupe for the discontinued "Bay Rum" scent from Burt's Bees, this is hands-down the best bay rum I've ever smelled. In addition to the requisite Bay and Rum notes, you get patchouli and orange and spices and piratey pirateness... Mmmm.
* Orange Sapphire: A BBW dupe, Orange Sapphire is described as "Radiant droplets of blood orange shimmer upon sweet sparkling cassis. Sugary nectar and citrus sangria trickle over coral rose petals."

*Two Bits: This fragrance is reminiscent of a beloved grandpa, after a shave and haircut at the barber shop. Heart notes of amber and rum with a light top note of musk and Bay make this irresistible! Like a softer, more gentle version of a Bay Rum fragrance, smells great on the guys but there's plenty of ladies who also adore wearing this scent themselves.
*Vanilla: This is a super sweet and rich vanilla scent, almost more of a buttercream than a vanilla.
*Victorian Rose: Stroll through a true rose garden, down paths lined with rose bushes and beneath trellises laden with climbing roses in full bloom, and you'll have an idea of what this fragrance smells like.
*Viva La Juicy!: After reading the descriptions of what this boutique fragrance duplicate smells like, I HAD to get it for my shop. It's fruity and floral, with the two balanced very nicely. You'll smell wild berries and mandarins, honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine, complimented nicely by notes of amber, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline. It sounds like there's a lot going on in this one, and there is- it reminds me of Pink Lady, in that it smells a little different every time you sniff it. This one is definitely a fun fragrance to wear.
*Volcanic: Tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons and limes, redolent with lightly exotic mountain greens. Cabri Blue dupe.

Private Stock Fragrances
All fragrances in this list are hand-blended by me. You won't find these scents anywhere else!
*1605: 36 barrels of gunpowder, a faint yet insistent wisp of church incense, and a wafting of bonfire smoke. Warm ginger bread and a tall mug of hearty stout. Inspired by the story of Guy Fawkes, and created to evoke the tale every time you wear it. Opening mainly as a food scent, 1605 dries down to a warm, spicy and softly smoky scent- I can totally imagine this being worn and enjoyed by both guys and girls, and smelling great on all of them.
*Absynthe- A 100% essential oils blend, this is my interpretation of Absinthe, made to be both wearable AND edible. That's right, I'll be putting this in lip balms as well as soaps and perfumes. It's an Anise-Peppermint-Lemongrass blend brightened with a few drops of red Blood Orange. It's definitely an anise-based scent, there's no doubt about that, but it's balanced by the mint and citrus scents so that even people who detest licorice-scented things might still be able to enjoy this. And of course, any fan of black licorice will most likely fall fast in love with this scent/flavor.

*Beach Bum: Sandy summer days rolling lazily into sticky, humid nights; sun-warmed skin and beach blossoms placed haphazardly in still-salty hair; running barefoot to the pier to catch the last rays of sunlight before the sun dips below the ocean horizon. Your endless summer starts now. Salt air, tuberose blooms, coconut, sweetgrass, tanning lotion, sand, sea, and sun.
*Berry Amber: Wild strawberries, sun-warmed cherries, white amber, and vine-ripened grapes. IOt's delightfully tart and sweet at first, but once the amber appears it takes the edge off the fruitiness. Gorgeous, and it ages magnificently!
*Besos del Sol: a summery floral blend which is best described as the scent of sun-warmed skin, Besos del Sol is a feminine and flirty scent. Creamy coconut and white gardenia star, supported by notes of white grapefruit, resinous amber, jasmine, a touch of deep, smoky vetivert, and a dash of bourbon vanilla. It's a great summer floral, and is really just the perfect fragrance to wear with little sun dresses or shorty shorts ;) A floral for those who hate florals.
*Bitten: The scent of an apple orchard after a spring rain, key notes are green apple, honey, rain, and just a nip of black pepper to shake things up.
*Bitten: The scent of an apple orchard after a spring rain, key notes are green apple, honey, rain, and just a nip of black pepper to shake things up.
*Black+Blue: Not half as violent as the name may imply, black+blue is a blend of lush blackberries and ripe blueberries, plums, a splash of red wine, and a cup of tea.
*Black Pearl: Set sail for tropical seas and balmy climes- yarrr! Banana trees and the finest Tahitian Vanilla open, and as they step back, the lush white florals take hold. Tuberose, Tiare, Ylang and Pikake blooms create a truly opulent fragrance, perfect for gazing miles across the ocean from sun-bleached decks. Exotic fruit notes lend support- Coconut, Papaya, and sweet Lychee, while a sturdy heart of salty Sandalwood, with a hint of Amber, keeps everyone afloat.
*Bluebell: What else would a luminous rabbit smell of? Blueberries and Lychee fruit, Clover, Lilies, White Musk, and Zucchini Blossoms straight from the garden.
*Bubbly: Nose-tickling champagne bubbles, jammy strawberries, and spiked fruit punch.

*Bubbly: Nose-tickling champagne bubbles, jammy strawberries, and spiked fruit punch.
*Buttella: Thanks to the incredible popularity of the Buttella product, I've decided to go ahead and make the fragrance blend available for other products, too! Creamy hazelnut spread made with skim milk and cocoa, smoothed out with vanilla notes. The whipped cocoa butter can only ship in the cooler months of the year, but now you can wear it as a perfume or use it in a sugar scrub year-round!
*Carnivale: Cotton candy, orange soda, lemon snow cones and vanilla ice cream all come together to evoke memories of the sweetest part of childhood summer nights.
*Carnivale: Cotton candy, orange soda, lemon snow cones and vanilla ice cream all come together to evoke memories of the sweetest part of childhood summer nights.
*Cascadia: A scent for a country that never was. At least, not yet. Dense evergreen forests, endless waterfalls, pine boughs, woodland paths littered with dried leaves, ambergris washed ashore the rocky coastline, driftwood, midday showers, oakmoss, sandalwood and ylang ylang.
*Chrietzhaus: This spicy, woody, gorgeous fragrance brings to mind a glorious old Moldavian castle, set high up on the side of a mountain, nestled in between ancient pines, perched high up above the rest of the world below. Superior! Autumn leaves, Cedar, Oud, Leather, Ambergris, Civet, Bergamot, Orange, Black Pepper, Sandalwood, Teakwood, Patchouli, Vetiver, Fir, Oakmoss, and perhaps not so surprisingly, there's some Neroli and Tuberose in there, to boot.
*Cicada Song: Iced Green tea, garnished with a sprig of garden-fresh Peppermint and spiked with Lemongrass. Best when enjoyed in the shade of the front porch, inhaling the scent of just-cut grass and the faintest hint of earthy patchouli, listening to the cicada's song to bring summer home. (a better-developed version of the 2011 Halloween version of "Hungry Ghost")
*Consulting Criminal: Ah, we couldn't have a Sherlock tribute scent without one for his greatest foe, now, could we? This smells like a well-dressed gentleman ought to, only with something sinister lurking just beneath... Decidedly masculine, this fragrance is not one to be trifled with. Staunch notes of Violet Leaf, Ambergris and Patchouli are elevated by Roman Chamomile, Verbena and Juniper Berries, and accented by a delicious Mitti Attar, Black Tea, Sandalwood, and a hint of Rosewood and Black Pepper. Honey, you should see him in a crown!
*Consulting Detective: An olfactory tribute to our favorite detective! Tea, lots of Tea, some more Tea, Tobacco absolute, Labdanum, Black Pepper, Teakwood, Petitgrain, Bergamot, Cardamom, and a delightful Mitti Attar... well over a dozen components went into the making of this unique fragrance. It's a warm and comforting blend, on the masculine side of unisex, and it's perfect for wearing with your favorite wool coat and purple scarf or while sipping tea in your study ;)

*Coven: A deep, spicy blend of jack-o-lanterns, dragon's blood, patchouli, and amber; spiked with citrus peels and grounded by a drop of dark and smoky vetivert.
*Dark Angel: An altered blend of scents, per custom request: cracked coconuts dance solo amongst swirls of dark musky woods, hint of vanilla, and a sprinkle of powder. It's Desolation Angel, minus the lime, which makes it an almost entirely different scent altogether.
*Decadence: Red Velvet Cake. Need I say more? Well, probably not, but here goes- this is not some stock rendition of everyone's favorite cake; this is my very own unique interpretation, with each note selected carefully to ensure maximum cakeitude. Cream Cheese Frosting, Cake btter heavy with Dark Cocoa powder, Vanilla Beans, and Butter.
*Desolation Angel: A rich blend of scents: cracked coconuts and fresh limes dance amongs swirls of dark musky woods, hint of vanilla, and a sprinkle of powder. This scent smells great on men or women- it's one of my personal favorites.
*Dirty: Musky, feral, earthy DIRT. Notes of dirt, topsoil, a trio of sandalwoods, sensual musk, all set off with subtle spices and a breath of carnation.
*Drama: Complicated and Confusing, yet Irresistible and Intoxicating despite itself. Multiple Vanillas, Jasmine and Cotton Candy, Strawberry with Tuberose and Egyptian Musk, Clove, Citrus fruits, Coconut,Nag Champa, and a hint of Leather all come together in this delightfully dramatic concoction.
*Dude: Easily one of my favorite words of all time, Dude is one for the dudes, for sure. Heavy on the masculine with a heaping helping of manly thrown in for good measure. Sweet dark musk, cologne, well-worn leather, cloves, clary sage and a bit of litsea cubeba thrown in to brighten things up a bit.
*Exhume: The last olfactory impression one might experience before committing fully to the sweet release provided by Death; sealed inside a casket, buried in the Earth's embrace. Church incense, White spices, nutmeg, cardamom... Peru Balsam, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sugar... and a lone white rose laid across your hands to carry you into eternity.
*Fevrier: (reformulated in 2013, same name) Winter fruits and the bite of a deep Arctic freeze. Berries, Currants, Pomegranate, Cranberry, Black pepper, Amber, Sandalwood, and a touch of spicy musk.
*Frankincense & Mirth: Forget what you know about what are probably the most famous perfume ingredients of all time, Frankincense and Myrrh- this modern interpretation brings a little fun to that party. This fragrance features, of course, frankincense and myrrh, but along with them you'll smell vanilla, amber, black pepper and lavender, all introduced by a fluttering of bluebonnets.
*Fresh: Just-mown clover, succulent mango slices, sweet oranges, and a sprinkling of bee pollen. It's a juicy, green scent perfect for Spring!

*Fresh: Just-mown clover, succulent mango slices, sweet oranges, and a sprinkling of bee pollen. It's a juicy, green scent perfect for Spring!
*Haterade: Inspired by the BEST Gatorade flavor of all time, Limon Pepino, this fragrance features Lime and Cucumber prominently. Rather than leave you smelling like a sports beverage, however, I have added light floral and musk notes to help ground the fragrance and elevate it to more of a "perfumey" scent than a delicious drink scent. Light, green, and perfect for Spring!
*Hivemind: The scent of a thousand apiaries in Spring, all the inhabitants functioning with a singular focus. Creamed honey, laced with a buttery vanilla, its sticky sweetness tempered by white musk and a touch of dark patchouli.
*Homecoming: A fall-inspired blend, Homecoming captures many of the scents of autumn in New England. Tart cranberries, dried figs, mulling spices, dried split firewood, fallen leaves and warm "Hot Toddies".
*I Am A Banana: This fun, fruity fragrance starts off smelling like banana candy and banana cream pie, and on the drydown transforms into a warm sandalwood-vanilla. This stuff is bananas! Banana, cream, bread, vanilla, sandalwood, almond, cedar
*I Smell Like A Witch: A special request for Amanda, I smell like a Witch came about when a little boy told her that the combination of scents she was wearing made her smell "like a witch". Heh. Red & White Roses, Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum, Smoke, Sandalwood, Patchouli & Vanilla Bean
*Jubilee: A green-floral scent, Jubille is comprised of so many different notes it's hard to pick them all out. Bonus points if you can, I guess! A bouquet of roses, creamy white magnolias, yuzu, rhubarb, green foliage, clover, cucumber, honey, tea, patchouli, and a wee smidge of cinnamon and cedarwood.
*Lady Grey: A derivative of Earl Grey tea, Lady Grey is a more delicate tea blend. My take on this tea has the bergamot and black tea notes you'd expect in such a scent, along with a touch of lightly floral musk, vanilla bourbon, and Immortelle. A perfect afternoon pick me up!
*Latitude: Coconut flesh, lychee, mango and jackfruit, pineapple juice, vanilla, honeysuckle and magnolia. A sweet and tropical fruity-floral fragrance, perfect for the hottest summer days.

*Lost at Sea: You can almost taste the salty sea air as it crashes against the bow of the ship, being cast about amongst the wild green and blue waves. Inhale deeply the tropical bounty of coconuts which could only have been bestowed upon you by Neptune himself, and the bouquet of citrus fruits brought aboard and stowed in the ship's hold for just such an occasion, and have not a care in the world that you are lost at sea.
*Make It So: Stephanie (http://www.beautyinfinitum.com) asked me to create this scent for her, and I was only happy to oblige. An olfactory ode to everyone's-okay, maybe not everyone's, stop yelling at me!- favorite Federation starship captain, it's like tea in space. Earl Grey. Hot. Black Ceylon tea and Bergamot, Skin musk, Mandarin, Neroli, Orris, and a hint of Ozone.

*Mango Brulee: Nearly over-ripe mangoes, sliced and layered inside of a warm vanilla custard topped with a caramelized shell.
*Memento- The first half of the Memento Mori duo, Memento is a sweet souvenir, taken in remembrance of brighter days. Gingered Pears, Green Tea, and powdery Violets, with hints of white Grapefruit, Hay, Amber and an almost ethereal musk.
*Mercantile: Used to be, if you needed anything, a trip to the local mercantile- the general store, as it were- was in order. Dried cherries and other fruits for mother's baking, loose tea leaves for afternoon social calls, a strip of black licorice for yourself, and maybe a plug of tobacco for grandpa, too. This scent starts out tart and fruity, mainly smelling of black cherries, but as it settles in on the skin it changes to reveal the tea and anise notes, and hiding beneath it all, some sticky fresh tobacco (nicotine removed, no worries).
*Mermaid: A beautiful marine-floral scent, Mermaid is a fragrance which brings to mind an underwater garden at the bottom of the ocean, or a mermaid's hair. It's perfect for those spring days that feel more like summer. Salt water, linden blossoms, muguet, carnation, white musk, with a base of driftwood and oakmoss.
*Mori: The second half of the Memento Mori duo, Mori is a mournful blend of Rain and blue Musk, of Whiskey and Red Wine, of Cardamom and Cognac, with whispers of damp Earth, Patchouli, and Sandalwood incense placed around a casket.
*Oceanside: "Oh, if I could only coax you overboard, to leave these lulling shores, to get you oceanside"... Inspired by everything ocean-y, most especially my little home by the seaside salt marsh. A cool Ocean breeze, Monoi de Tahiti, Beach grass, Sea moss, Tuberose, an oversized white Linen shirt, and Rockrose and Mimosa blossoms. Gorgeous.
*Polynesian Punch: This was a one-off I originally blended for the sake of making room in my fragrance storage, and it was only available in bar soap, and then, only a very small amount was ever made available. Of course, as seems to always be the case with these small-batch one-offs I come up with, I fell in love with the fragrance after the fact and have been meaning to bring it back for some time- well, that time has come. A tropical and fruity scent, it's sliced limes and tangerines and oranges and grapefruits and mandarins, chunks of juicy pineapple, all mixed up in a white wine spritzer while the warm island breeze carries the faintest hints of tropical flowers over your way.
*Providence: a blend of lavender, spearmint, and petitgrain based on principles of aromatherapy and specifically designed to be uplifting; it does the trick for me, but your results may vary. Regardless of its aromatherapeutic values, it's sweetly herbal and floral with feminine leanings.

*Pasticceria: An Italian pastry shop, the pasticceria has all the best dessert smells in the world. Marzipan, hazelnut, almonds, vanilla, cakes, assorted pastries, frosting, and of course, pure sugar. It's not edible, please don't try.

*Pumpkin Eater: This fragrance smells of mangled pumpkin flesh, tilled earth, and a dash of spiced cider; all haunted by an apparition of aged patchouli. This scent needs skin to blossom into its full potential, please don't judge this one on cold sniff in the tube/bottle!
* Raspberry Gingerale: Ripe red raspberries floating up and down in a pitcher of freshly-poured gingerale, thanks to help from millions of fizzy pinprick bubbles. A touch of blackcurrant adds a syrupy sweetness to the blend without weighing it down. A bright and lively scent!
*Samovar: A warm cup of tea always at the ready. Three teas, Thyme, Honey, Pennyroyal, & Saffron.
*Scarlett: A deceptively complex blend of Neroli, Cilantro, and Rhubarb. New for 2015, this fragrance now has supporting notes of raspberry, citrus zests, and blood orange. A sweet summertime smell for all the Southern belles.
*Sea Legs: Life at sea- the constant movement of a boat being tossed about in the rolling waves like a child's plaything requires sea legs to maintain one's footing whilst on deck. Briny air, a steady Ocean breeze, salt-encrusted Wooden masts, and barrels of precious Ambergris collected from the lacy surface of the waves.
*Serendipity: You know how you'll sometimes end up with one thing while trying for something else? Yeah, that's serendipity at work. This fragrance came about unintentionally, but the end result was something even better than what I'd been aiming for. A bushel of berries- strawberries, blackberries, currants, a breath of freesia, light musk, herbal sage, mysore sandalwood, and a bit of dank oakmoss.
*Stolen Bouquet: Purple blooms sneakily gathered from the gardens of others while nobody was looking- lilacs and violets, accented with orchids, with a dash of powdery vanilla added to ground the scent.
*Sugar Skulls: This is a blend inspired by Dia de Los Muertos (also known as the Day of the Dead) and specifically, the sweet treats available at that time of year. You'll smell sweet baked goods, vanilla cookies, anise, and roses- all the scents of a stroll though a Mexican neighborhood during the celebration.
* The Cake Is A Lie: But it smells so REAL! Lemon-filled butter cake with thick, fluffy frosting. Lemon, Sugar, Cake batter & Frosting. Reformulated and added to the full-time list of Private Stock fragrances, TCIAL was originally a limited edition for Winter of 2011.
*The Girl Who Waited: Originally, this was supposed to be a custom scent named for and inspired by an episode of Doctor Who, but considering how long Jen (http://www.lacquerninja.com/) waited for me to get this fragrance made, I think maybe it was actually named after Jen all along. She's lovely and very VERY patient... much like a certain little ginger-haired girl named Pond. "Can I have an apple? All I can think about. APPLES. I love apples." Crisp apples, Raw honey, Lilacs, Cedarwood, Soft leather, and Vanilla cream. This is mainly an "apple" scent, so don't let the other notes scare you off- they're only there for support.

*This is Not For You: Like a favorite sweater, warm and cozy and always the perfect fit, this fragrance is something I made just for me. Not for you. But I can't keep one this all to myself- that wouldn't be fair. Vanilla, Sandalwood, Sugar and Cedar, with hints of Myrrh, Amber, and Amyris.
*Toxid Lotus: Everyone has a darker side. Another scent created for Amanda, this one is like I Smell Like A Witch's older sister; you know, the one always in trouble for doing something devious. Blackened dark Musk, Red Wine, Damask Rose Absolute, Frankincense, Baby Roses, Myrrh, and a hint of White Amber.
*Venom: Happy birthday to me! New to the OHWTO PS catalog in 2013 as a present from me to you. I'm getting older, to be sure, but the "wiser" part could be easily be argued. Cyanide-spiked Amaretto, vanilla'd woods, a smoldering cone of heady floral incense, and spite. Mostly, spite.
*Veritas: A fragrance inspired by The Boondock Saints. At last. Veritas, the left hand to Aequitas' right, is a green chypre scent, though the perfume itself is a cloudy whiskey gold. This perfume was meant to evoke the imagery from the Boondock Saints, and with that in mind I set out to gather components that would do just that. The notes used are almost too many to list, but include a quartet of sensual musks, church incense, white funerary freesia and lilies, shamrock clover, men's aftershave, bourbon vanilla, gun oil, Irish whiskey, smoke, worn leather, and tobacco absolute. So as not to leave anyone out, this scent is perfectly unisex, though as with any perfume oil, your skin may "amp" up certain notes more than others, so your mileage may vary. This perfume oil may settle out over time; if this happens, just give your bottle a gentle shake to mix everything back up before applying.
*Victuals: Hearty rolled oats spiked with syrupy sweet wild blueberries, topped with a sprinkling of maple sugar and a splash of vanilla rice milk. This is a breakfast staple for me, and is the inspiration for this yummy foody blend.
*Violette: Simple and sweet, Violette will change on your skin as you wear it, giving each note a chance to take center stage. Wood Violets, Leather, and Honeycomb.
*Watch you Disappear: A special request, this is a scent for a song- this one, specifically, by one Mr Tom Waits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTWUYhLBg_A. Notes of Orchid, Cherrywood, Musk, Sweetgrass, Champagne, a slight hint of Lavender, Zucchini Flower, Rosewood. Haunting.
